ORLANDO, FLORIDA (UCFKnights) – The lights were shining bright on the UCF campus Saturday with the Knights holding their ninth practice of Spring Camp inside Bright House Networks Stadium. It was the only night session, as well as weekend session, on tap during the spring season.

The UCF program also held Junior Day on campus. At the evening practice, several former Knights came back including Blake Bortles, Joey Grant, Jordan McCray, Justin McCray, Lance McDowdell, Rodrigo Quirarte, Jordan Rae, Scott Teal and Justin Tukes.

The McCrays, both offensive linemen, just started the Arena Football League season with the Orlando Predators on Friday with a 76-25 road win at Tampa Bay. Jordan McCray caught a touchdown pass in the win, and he acknowledged it was the first touchdown of his entire football career.

While the Knights have held their previous eight sessions on the practice fields, Saturday was the first time head coach Scott Frost led his team inside the confines of Bright House Networks Stadium.

UCF closed out the night with a situational drill. It split into two teams, 2:40 was put on the clock, one team was given a 24-22 lead and the ball while the other was given two timeouts. The defense stood out on a couple drives, highlighted by interceptions from Rashard Causey and Nevelle Clarke.
