45th Operations Group’s 1st Range Operations Squadron Makes Change of Command

BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL AIR FORCE STATION, FLORIDA – Col. Thomas G. Falzarano, 45th Operations Group commander, presents Lt. Col. Monique Delauter, 1st Range Operations Squadron commander, with the 1st ROPS guidon during a change of command ceremony last week at the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station Morrell Operations Center.

Changes of command are a military tradition representing the transfer of responsibilities from the presiding officials to the upcoming official.

Located at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, the 45th Operations Group operates the Eastern Range and launches space vehicles for the Department of Defense, NASA, the United States and international commercial customers.

Squadrons include the 1st Range Operations Squadron, 45th Operations Support Squadron, 45th Range Management Squadron, 45th Space Communications Squadron and the 45th Weather Squadron.
