BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Brevard Cultural Alliance (BCA), the professional organization representing the arts and cultural sector on Florida’s Space Coast, recently installed a sculpture by Rockledge artist Rafael Picon at Miller & Hurt Financial Group as part of its Art in Public Places Program.
The sculpture, Stairway to Knowledge, will be on display through October 20, 2016.
BCA’s Art in Public Places Program exhibits artwork and provides opportunities for area businesses to boldly display their support for the arts.
The evolving exhibition program currently serves more than 225 artists throughout the county with more than 650 pieces on continuous display.
An estimated 400,000+ people view the artwork annually.
In addition to its interior Art in Public Places exhibition locations, BCA has four exterior sculpture sites on the Space Coast, which include Wild Manta Knowledge Center in Palm Bay, Miller & Hurt Financial Group in Rockledge, and two Cumberland Farms locations in Melbourne.
All artwork is for sale, benefiting local artists and BCA takes no commission for work sold through this program.
