Florida Tech Women’s Rowing Team Opens Competition Today At 78th Dad Vail Regatta

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Florida Tech commences competition Friday at the Dad Vail Regatta, the 78th edition of the historic race along the Shuylkill River.

The varsity four boat will get things started at 7:06 a.m. ET. The Panther boat will man lane four, lining up against the likes of UC San Diego, Nova Southeastern and Humboldt.

At 7:48 a.m., the varsity eight boat will hit the water, facing off against Merrimack, Barry, Nova Southeastern and UC San Diego from lane two.

Alexandra Coultrop will represent FIT in the collegiate single at 8:38 a.m. Occupying lane two, Coultrop will be facing Drexel, Queen’s University, Emory “A” and Emory “B”.

Saturday’s action will begin at 7 a.m. with semifinals, with finals following at 1 p.m. Complete heat sheets can be accessed by clicking here.
