Florida Tech Wraps Up Regular Season At Grand Valley State Last Chance Meet

ALLENDALE, MICHIGAN – Florida Tech track and field concluded its regular season Saturday, as the trio of Maia Carter, Alexis Santiago and Terence Brookins competed in the Grand Valley State Last Chance Meet in Allendale, Michigan.

The Panthers kicked off the day by placing first and second in the 100m hurdles. Santiago took the top spot with a run of 14.58s, while Carter finished just behind in 14.64s.

Carter then placed second in the 400m hurdles, crossing the line in a time of 1:06.44.

In the final heat of the day, Brookins took the top overall position in the 400m dash, finishing with a time of 50.39s.

With the regular season at a close, the three Panthers must now await their fates and hope that their provisional qualifying times are strong enough to earn them bids to compete in the NCAA Championships in their respective events.
