(SunshineStateNews) – Asked Wednesday night if he would accept a bid to become Donald Trump’s vice president, Gov. Rick Scott told millions of CNN viewers, “I like my job, I have two years and eight months to go and I’m going to stay in this job.”

During the four-minute interview with CNN’s Erin Burnett, Scott confirmed Trump is his man. “Look, I’ll do anything I can to help him,” the governor. “… Voters have a choice. If they like what Washington has been doing, they can vote for Hillary Clinton. If they don’t, they can vote for Donald Trump.”

Scott also predicted Trump would win Florida and the nation because the billionaire celebrity is selling what the American people are buying.

“People want jobs. I won because I created a million jobs in Florida. Donald Trump is talking about the same things.”
