BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Titusville Police responded to a report of a traffic crash with injuries involving a single vehicle and a worker in the landscaped area of the Temple Baptist Church parking lot Friday morning at around 7:30 a.m. on 1400 North Washington Avenue.

The preliminary investigation has revealed that a landscape worker was spreading mulch around a tree area when he was accidently struck by a Ford F450 work truck as it was backing up, according to Amy Matthews of the Titusville Police Department.

The injured worker was transported to Parrish Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, said Matthews.

An investigation of the traffic crash homicide is currently being conducted by the Titusville Police Department.
