Volunteers Needed To Serve On City of Melbourne Planning & Zoning Board

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA — The City of Melbourne is seeking volunteers to serve on the Planning and Zoning Board.
The Planning and Zoning Board acts primarily in an advisory capacity to the City Council on questions relating to zoning, comprehensive planning and land use.
It conducts investigations on matters or proposals to change zoning and land development regulations. In some cases it makes the final decision on site plan approval requests under one acre.
The board meets the first and third Thursday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chamber.
Applicants for this board must be City of Melbourne residents and registered to vote. To apply, please download and complete the board application from the City’s website HERE.
