Woman Crashes Car Into Palm Bay Home Then Flees, Firefighters Rescue Boy Trapped Under Debris

Palm Bay police responded to a scene of a car striking a house on Dallam Ave. in Palm Bay early Monday morning.

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Palm Bay police responded to a scene of a car striking a house on Dallam Ave. in Palm Bay early Monday morning.

The suspect and driver of the vehicle was Paige Elizabeth Oak, 50, from Palm Bay, who then fled the scene after striking the house.

Officers located and took the suspected driver into custody a short while later.

When officers arrived on scene, the front of the house was caved in, according to Lt. Mike Bandish of the Palm Bay Police Department.

 

Officers could hear a young boy saying “help me”.

Palm Bay Fire Fighters arrived on scene and were able to free the boy who was trapped under the front wall of the house.

The driver was charged with Leaving the Scene of a Accident and DUI.
