Bags & Boards Cornhole Tourney To Benefit Brevard Special Olympics Set Sunday

BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – Don’t miss the opportunity to support Brevard County Special Olympics and have a lot of fun during the first annual Bags & Boards Cornhole Tournament, set for Sunday, June 26 at Kiwanis Island on Merritt Island.
“The Bags & Boards Cornhole Tournament and associated activities are a fundraiser for Brevard County Special Olympics and the proceeds benefit and help fund the program, equipment transportation and competitions for the athletes,” said event organizer Dave Jacobs.
This fun for the whole family event will begin at 12 noon and will not only include a Cornhole Tournament, but also provide the opportunity to learn Standup Paddleboarding (SUP) from one of Special Olympic’s expert instructors. Board rental will be available.
There will be a Blind Draw or Team Entry at $20 per person or $40 for a team, which also includes lunch.
“There will be first place prizes and more,” said Jacobs.
Other activities and opportunities to assist the Brevard Special Olympic effort include:
• $5 raffle tickets for one of a kind set of hand painted cornhole boards
• Food and drinks will be available for purchase
• Brevard County Special Olympics t-shirt and visors available for purchase
• BYO Beer – 21 and up. (No glass, please bring plastic cups)
