TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA – Commissioner of Agriculture Adam H. Putnam announced that the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services’ Office of Agricultural Law Enforcement arrested George Anthony Negron, Jr., 33, of Kissimmee for allegedly conducting a scheme that defrauded five victims of more than $15,000 through fraudulent timeshare sales.
“Floridians are all too often the target of scammers hoping to obtain their hard-earned money by any means possible, including deals that are too good to be true,” said Commissioner of Agriculture Adam H. Putnam.”
“I thank our law enforcement officers and investigators for their dedication to the well-being of our residents.”
According to the investigation, WWFS Inc., owned and operated by Negron, would defraud timeshare vacation property owners by brokering fraudulent real estate transactions.
