BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – City of Titusville awarded 18-year-old Breanna Moseley and 9-year-old Stevie McCray with the Lifesaving award for saving a 3-year-old child at a local community pool last month.

Titusville Police Officers responded to a report of a toddler being pulled out of the water and not breathing at the community pool located at 628 Timber Trace Lane, on June 3, just after 12:30 p.m.

The preliminary investigation revealed that a 3-year-old child was in the pool, struggled to stay above water and subsequently went completely underwater.

Surveillance footage provided by the apartment complex shows that approximately two minutes elapsed before 9-year-old Stevie, the victim’s cousin, noticed the submerged child and pulled the child out of the pool.

Breanna Moseley, 18, of Titusville, who was poolside and did not know the victim, began CPR on the child, who was lifeless and not breathing.
