BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – The City of Cocoa Mayor 2016 Crime Awareness and Prevention Summit will be held Thursday, September 8 from 6-8 p.m. at the Cocoa Civic Center, located at 430 Delannoy Avenue in Cocoa.

The summit will include community dialogue on critical issues impacting quality of life in the city.

Learn how to “Safety Plan” for your personal, family and community well-being.

Hear about police programs and services and ways you can get involved.

There will be a panel of local law enforcement professionals, community advocates, political leaders and community stakeholders as well as a community dialogue session.

An online forum will give the community the opportunity to give ideas and start the dialogue process prior to the summit on September 8.

These ideas will be discussed further at the summit. This is a chance for the residents of Cocoa to be involved in their community.
