The Florida Highway Patrol reported a yet to be identified 22-year-old Cape Canaveral man was struck and killed about 3 a.m. Saturday by a vehicle on the I-95 entrance ramp at Port St. John Parkway.

BREVARD COUNTY • PORT ST. JOHN – The Florida Highway Patrol reported a yet to be identified 22-year-old Cape Canaveral man was struck and killed about 3 a.m. Saturday by a vehicle on the I-95 entrance ramp at Port St. John Parkway.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Ronnie Crane, 70, of Cocoa was driving a 2014 Ford pickup truck on the entrance ramp to southbound I-95 from Port St. John Parkway.

For an unknown reason, the victim was either standing or walking on the entrance ramp and Crane did not the victim and struck him.

The victim’s identity is being withheld until notification of next-of-kin. This crash remains under investigation.
