BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Recent wet weather conditions have increased the availability of reclaimed water.
In order to maximize availability of reclaimed water, Brevard County Utilities will be making reclaimed water available to all customers, east and west of Interstate 95, on a daily basis.
Reclaimed water will be available every day from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m., with occasional service interruptions to replenish the reclamation system.
On Wednesdays, reclaimed water will be available until noon for maintenance of your irrigation systems.
This new schedule began on Friday, Aug.12.
Residents in unincorporated areas can return timers to your normal watering schedules. Each zone should be adjusted to irrigate for the shortest period to maintain live lawn conditions.
Brevard County will do its best to provide reuse during these times but it is not guaranteed as weather conditions continually change.
Regular updates will be given on the Reuse Hotline 321-637-5477. Access of reclaimed water to golf courses is still unavailable.
