The Melbourne Police Department seeks to locate 36-year-old Justin Cameron Player after police responded to a residence in the city Saturday night regarding a burglary to an occupied residence where the homeowner was battered.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Melbourne Police Department seeks to locate 36-year-old Justin Cameron Player after police responded to a residence in the city Saturday night regarding a burglary to an occupied residence where the homeowner was battered, according to Melbourne Police.

The investigation revealed Justin Player forced his way into his estranged pregnant wife’s home and battered her then fled the scene before police arrived, according to Lt. T.A. Turner of the Melbourne Police Department.

Player has an arrest history for sale of cocaine, possession of MDMA and possession of a controlled substance.

He is currently on probation for aggravated assault with a firearm and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. An arrest warrant was obtained for the below listed charges.

The suspect has charges that include; Aggravated Battery on a pregnant person, Burglary of an Occupied Dwelling with a battery, Possession of Burglary tools, False Imprisonment, and Violation of Probation.

Player is currently at large.

The suspect was last seen near Chestnut Ct. in Rockledge and is described as 5-foot-10, 180-pounds.
