BREVARD COUNTY • INDIAN HARBOUR BEACH, FLORIDA –The Scott Center for Autism Treatment at Florida Institute of Technology has received an $18,000 gift from funds raised during the 11th Annual Revolution Technologies Pro Tennis Classic at Kiwi Tennis Club in Indian Harbour Beach.

The largest women’s tennis event in Central Florida, the week-long tournament raised over $36,000.

In addition to featuring the USTA-sanctioned tournament, the event also included the Courtside Celebration Benefit, where 100 guests enjoyed food and drink and live and silent auctions while viewing a tennis match.

Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey was the evening’s master of ceremonies.

Founded in 2009 at Florida Tech, the Scott Center for Autism Treatment was made possible by the generous support of Cheryl and Ed Scott, the Eckerd Family Foundation, other private donations, and public funding.
