Teenager Shot Multiple Times In Cocoa Tuesday Night, Police Seek Suspect

A Cocoa police officer suffered non-life threatening injuries after a suspect fled an attempted traffic stop Thursday evening.
Cocoa Police officers and detectives are currently investigating a shooting that occurred at Anderson Park Tuesday night near the 800 block of North Fiske Blvd, according to Yvonne Martinez of the Cocoa Police Department.

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Cocoa Police officers and detectives are currently investigating a shooting that occurred at Anderson Park Tuesday night near the 800 block of North Fiske Blvd, according to Yvonne Martinez of the Cocoa Police Department.

The victim is described as a 14-year-old black male and was transported to the hospital with multiple gun shot wounds.

Police are currently searching for a black male suspect that fled in a maroon colored mid sized car.

Officers and detectives are interviewing witnesses attempting to get additional information.
