BREVARD COUNTY • ROCKLEDGE, FLORIDA —Brevard County Parks and Recreation Central Area to host its third annual Great Pumpkin Rescue from 1-3:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, at McLarty Park Aquatic Center, 790 Barton Blvd. in Rockledge.
Forget the pumpkin patch. We are rescuing pumpkins from a floating pumpkin patch!
Participants will be given a number which corresponds to a floating pumpkin in the pool. They will search for their number to rescue their pumpkin.
Once a pumpkin has been rescued, participants will be directed to our decorating station. A pumpkin decorating contest will be held, and prizes awarded for each age group. There will be pumpkin rescuing, swimming, a pumpkin decorating contest, and treat bags.
Bring everyone for this great family friendly event. Must register in advance, no on-site registration available, as space is limited.
Ages 5-12 years old are invited to participant in rescue and decorating contest. Cost is $5.00 for participants and $2 for all other swimmers (non-participants.)
