SURF REPORT FOR SEPTEMBER 9-11

Good Morning, Surfers!
This weekend’s early morning hours during the incoming tide will prove to be the best surfing times this weekend. A light onshore breeze will add a bit of bump to the wave face.
FRIDAY: Waves will be running in the thigh-high range with bumpy conditions from a light easterly wind. South Brevard beach breaks may not be rideable by late-morning as the incoming tide fills in.
SATURDAY: A new easterly groundswell will boost wave heights up into the waist-high range. Expect bigger sets during mid-morning’s high tide push. Gentle onshore winds will add soft bumps to the long lines.
SUNDAY: I expect the wave heights to reduce some into the thigh- to waist-high range with semi-bumpy conditions again.
Cocoa Beach ocean temperatures now average 82 degrees.
