Motorcyclist Dies After Crash With Pickup Truck On U.S. 1 In Titusville On Friday Night

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – A motorcyclist was killed Friday night in Titusville after colliding with a pickup truck about 9:45 p.m.

According to the Titusville police, officers responded to a report of a traffic crash with injuries involving a motorcycle and a Toyota pick-up truck at the intersection of Washington Avenue (U.S. Hwy. 1) and Coquina Avenue.

“The preliminary investigation revealed that the driver of a Toyota Tundra was traveling northbound on Washington Avenue,” said Amy Matthews, Titusville Police Department Public Affairs Coordinator/Public Information Officer.

“The truck turned west toward Coquina Avenue and a motorcyclist, traveling southbound on Washington Avenue, struck the truck at the intersection of Coquina Avenue and Washington Avenue.”

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, and there were no other injuries reported. An investigation is currently being conducted by the Titusville Police Department.
