Da Silva four goals in first four games
BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA– Women’s soccer player Nathali Da Silva and women’s volleyball player Malvis Ortiz are the Eastern Florida State College Student-Athletes of the Week for the week ending September, 11.
Da Silva scored with four minutes remaining in regulation to lift the Eastern Florida State College women’s soccer team past Broward in the conference opener for both teams.
Da Silva has scored four goals in her first four games with the Titans.
Ortiz had a big weekend in the Santa Fe tri-match, finishing with 19 kills in the two matches including 11 in a match against host Santa Fe.
The sophomore already has 84 kills in 11 matches this season.
The volleyball team will be home Thursday night at 6 p.m. against Indian River State College while the women’s soccer team will be back at Titan Soccer Complex Sept. 23.
