SURF REPORT FOR OCTOBER 14-16

Good Morning, Surfers!
Friday: Go surfing today if you can. An approaching cold front started shifting winds more offshore late Thursday evening. This morning’s northwesterly winds will clean up surfing conditions and produce fun chest-high waves with semi-clean lines.
Saturday: Wave heights will decrease into the thigh- to waist-high range with windy, drifty conditions returning. Try to surf very early in the morning as there is a chance northwesterly winds could remain for a few hours.
Sunday: I expect waves to remain in the thigh- to waist-high range with bumpy conditions from a steady northeasterly wind.
Cocoa Beach ocean temperatures now average 78 degrees.
