BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Titusville Police Detectives identified and arrested a man suspected of aggravated battery and armed robbery by using a computerized composite sketch resource, known as FaceLogics.

Jermaine Shawnta Evans, 29, of Orlando, was arrested on Wednesday without incident and charged with four felonies, including Aggravated Battery, Robbery with a Firearm, Grand Theft and Burglary.

According to Amy L. Matthews, spokesperson for the Titusville Police Department, on Thursday, Oct. 13, police reported that a male victim was dragged from his vehicle, beaten with a 2×4 piece of lumber and robbed of his cell phone in the area of 4th Avenue by an unknown suspect.

During the preliminary investigation, the victim supplied investigators with the suspect’s physical information, and with FaceLogics technology, a computerized rendition of the suspect was produced.
