Eastern Florida State’s Tennis Player Luisa Varon Named Student-Athlete Of The Month

EFSC Louisa Varon won the singles title at the Florida Tech Panther Tennis Invitational, finishing the month of September with an 8-0 singles record, winning 16 of the 18 sets she has played.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Women’s tennis player Luisa Varon is the Eastern Florida State College Student-Athlete of the Month for September.

Varon will be representing the Titans in the ITA National Small College Championships in Surprise, Arizona.

Varon won the ITA Florida Regional Championships in both singles and doubles, teaming with Josephine Karcher to take the doubles title and a spot in Arizona.

The Sophomore from Valencia,Venezuela also won the singles title at the Florida Tech Panther Tennis Invitational.
