Melbourne Police Execute Search Warrant, Take Down Drug Dealer After Three Month Investigation

In continuing efforts to target illegal drug sales within the City of Melbourne, the Melbourne Police Department Special Investigations Unit executed a search warrant on October 14, following a three month investigation of illegal drug distribution at 2975 Thrush Dr. #231 in Melbourne.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – In continuing efforts to target illegal drug sales within the City of Melbourne, the Melbourne Police Department Special Investigations Unit executed a search warrant on October 14, following a three month investigation of illegal drug distribution at 2975 Thrush Dr. #231 in Melbourne.

Andrew Strick of Melbourne was arrested and charged with the following charges: Sale of a controlled substance, Possession of a controlled substance, and possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell.

A large quantity of several different drugs were seized including:

Drugs seized:
• 105 grams of MDMA crystals (Mollies)

• Mushrooms (Psilocybin) 33grams

• DMT (Dimethyltryptamine) crystals 19 grams

• DMT (Dimethyltryptamine) liquid 27 grams

• Hashish (THC) concentrate 109 grams
