Melbourne Police Seek Burglary Suspect After Home Burglary Monday Afternoon

 Melbourne police officers were called to the Eau Gallie Causeway early Sunday morning at 4:45 a.m. in response to a report of a man standing on the outer railing at the top of the Causeway.
The Melbourne Police Department is requesting assistance from the community in locating a suspect and a vehicle used in a residential burglary in south Melbourne area near Benton Dr.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Melbourne Police Department is requesting assistance from the community in locating a suspect and a vehicle used in a residential burglary in south Melbourne area near Benton Drive.

On Monday afternoon at around 1 p.m., a witness observed an unknown male suspect entered the victim’s open garage and removed two items.

According to police, the suspect is described as a white male, 19-20 years-old, large build and wearing a camo ball cap.

The suspect vehicle is described as an older four-door maroon Mitsubishi with tinted windows and a weed eater protruding from the rear window.
