Precautionary Boil Water Notice in Place For Cocoa Water Customers on Barrier Islands

Dyal water plant sustained some damage

The precautionary boil water notice issued Friday, June 26, for Brevard County Utility Services water customers in the Barefoot Bay and Snug Harbor subdivisions has been lifted.
Crews have partially opened a valve on SR 528 to normalize flows and pressures toward the barrier islands.

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Crews have partially opened a valve on SR 528 to normalize flows and pressures toward the barrier islands.

Currently Dyal water plant has sustained some damage and has limited flow capacity.

Citizens and customers for the Cocoa system may expect low pressures until such time as the plant returns to full operational status.

Crews are actively working to restore pressures and we will communicate as more information becomes available.

A Precautionary Boil Water Notice is in effect.
