BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – National Hurricane Center has recorded 120 mph max sustained winds from Hurricane Matthew.

The system is moving to the Northwest at 12 mph.
National Weather Center of Melbourne has come out with a statement, “Everyone, this is a very dangerous situation. Please have your final preparations done as soon as you can.”
According to the National Hurricane Center, if the hurricane continues on this track, Matthew will be moving across the Bahamas tonight and tomorrow, and is expected to be very near the east coast of Florida by tomorrow night.
Strengthening is in the forecast during the next couple of days as Matthew is expected to remain at category 3 or stronger while it moves through the Bahamas and approaches Florida’s East Coast.
