The West Melbourne Police Department (FL) is attempting to locate 78-year-old Richard Arthur Lantz.

BREVARD COUNTY • WEST MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The West Melbourne Police Department (FL) is attempting to locate a missing adult, 78-year-old Richard Arthur Lantz.

Mr. Lantz is a white male born January 4, 1938.

He is 5 foot 8 inches, 190 lbs, brown eyes, gray beard, and bald. He was last seen at 9am on Wednesday October 12, 2016 in the 600 block of Brockton Way, West Melbourne, Brevard County, Florida.

Mr. Lantz suffers from memory loss and is prescribed medication that he does not have with him, according West Melbourne Police. He left his residence driving a black 2012 Nissan Frontier, bearing Florida license plate Y 6 4 J J L.truck-lantz-missing-580-5

He indicated he was running a local errand then going to his second home in Old Saybrook, CT to retrieve personal items. He has not been seen since.

Our investigation leads us to believe Mr. Lantz is no longer in the State of Florida.

The last investigative lead indicates he may be in the state of Pennsylvania and likely continuing to travel north.
