Brevard County Announces Road Closures For Dec. 3 Merritt Island Holiday Parade

BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office will close Courtenay Parkway (State Road 3) from Grove Boulevard to Merritt Avenue, and Merritt Avenue east to Plumosa Avenue, at 9:30 a.m. until approximately 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3, for the Merritt Island Holiday Parade.

The traffic will be re-routed to Tropical Trail, State Road 520 and State Road 528. Motorists wishing to drive through the area are cautioned to allow extra time.

The Cocoa/Rockledge Holiday Parade will be held on Saturday, Dec. 10, with step-off at 5:30 p.m. For additional information about the Cocoa/Rockledge Holiday Parade please call 321-633-1874.
