Command Team 'Allstars' WIN 20-12
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Early Thanksgiving morning members of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office competed in the 4th Annual Thanksgiving Day “Turkey Bowl” Flag Football Game between the BCSO Command Team “Allstars” and the BCSO “Stargazers” team that is comprised of various members and units throughout our agency.
Although this year’s game proved to be a challenge, the “Allstars” were once again victorious in winning the coveted “Turkey Bowl” Championship just as they have the previous 3 years.
While the “BCSO Stargazers” had a great first half, the “Allstars” proved too much to handle as their offense ignited in the second half and a stifling defense repeatedly shut down the opposition’s scoring efforts.
The final score was 20-12 leaving the Command Team “Allstars” undefeated for yet another season.
On a more serious note, everyone had a great time this morning as we each enjoyed the friendly competition and opportunity to spend time together with our BCSO Family and friends on Thanksgiving Day.
I want to personally thank everyone who played in today’s game and also thank each of them for what they do every day to protect our community.
I would like to also thank the many family members and spectators who joined us Thursday morning and who are always so incredibly supportive of our agency.
I hope everyone had an awesome Thanksgiving Day and as always thank you for your tremendous support of our agency.
