Two People Dead With Apparent Gun Shot Wounds, Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Investigating

Incident occurred early Wednesday

Early this afternoon, the Brevard County Sheriff's Office responded to the Devereaux School, located at 8000 Devereux Drive in unincorporated Melbourne, for the report of a disturbance.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Sheriff’s Office has responded to a death investigation near the 300 block on Pine Avenue in unincorporated Cocoa, for what was reported as a possible suicide, according to Cpl. Dave Jacobs of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies arrived within minutes and located two deceased individuals with apparent gunshot wounds, according to authorities.

The identities of the individuals are not being released at this time and the incident appears to be isolated, as all parties involved have been identified.

Homicide Agents and Crime Scene Investigators are currently working the scene and interviewing witnesses.

The investigation into the circumstances of the incident is still in the initial stages.
