WIL BRING BACK JOBS ON DAY ONE
ABOVE VIDEO: President-elect Donald J. Trump shares an update on the progress of the presidential transition, an outline of some of his policy plans for the first 100 days, and his day-one executive actions.
President-elect Donald J. Trump side-stepped the mainstream media and went straight to the people as he shared a Presidential Transition update on YouTube, which was then distributed via social media.
In the two-and-a-half minute video, President-elect Trump outlined some of his policy plans for the first 100 days, and his day-one executive actions, which will include creating jobs, renegotiating trade agreements, ending restrictions on energy production and imposing a ban on lobbying.
“Whether it’s producing steel, building cars or curing disease, I want the next generation of production and innovation to happen right here, in our great homeland, creating wealth and jobs for American workers,” said President-Elect Trump.
Trump was elected the 45th President of the United States on November 8 despite every major mainstream media outlet and polling organization’s prediction that he would lose handily to Hillary Clinton.
Trump’s resounding victory of 306 electoral votes to Clinton’s 232 validated Trump’s populist platform – and skillful use of social media – and it now appears that the President-Elect is going to continue to reach out directly to the American people without the mainstream media serving in their traditional role of middleman.
