ORLANDO, FLORIDA (UCF KNIGHTS)– In just his first season at the helm, head coach Scott Frost has the Knights right back where they belong – in a postseason bowl game.

2016 will mark the seventh bowl appearance over the last 10 seasons for UCF and the eighth in program history.

“That’s where we should be as a program, is in a bowl game every year,” Frost said. “With everything we have to offer here at UCF, I think it’s really important for our team so these seniors get an opportunity to play one more time together and be rewarded for what they’ve done.”

The Knights emerged victorious in three of their last four bowl matchups, including a 2010 AutoZone Liberty Bowl victory over Georgia 10-6 and a 52-42 win over Baylor in the 2014 Tostitos Fiesta Bowl.
