Eastern Florida State’s Bunny Shaw Named NSCAA Junior College Division All-American

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The accolades keep pouring in for Eastern Florida State College women’s soccer player Bunny Shaw.

On Thursday the National Soccer Coaches Association of America named Shaw a Junior College Division I All-American. The midfielder was named to the National Junior College Athletic Association first team All-America team last week.

The sophomore from Spanish Town Jamaica scored 15 goals and had five assists in 11 games for the Titans. She scored four goals in two games during the NJCAA Division I National Tournament and scored two goals in each of the last four games for the Titans, leading them down the stretch.

Shaw is the sixth player from Eastern Florida State College to be named NSCAA first team All-American.

Teammate Darien Davis was named second team All-American by the NSCAA after scoring 18 goals and assisting on 12 others in 16 games this season with the Titans.

Davis, a transfer from FGCU, was named to NJCAA first team All-American team last week and was the Region 8 women’s soccer player of the year.

Shaw and Davis join Juna Suppan and Nathali Da Silva on the All-South Region team which was also announced on Thursday.

Suppan, a freshman from Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, was the leader on the defensive side for the Titans and also scored two goals and assisted on two other goals.

Da Silva, a freshman from Montverde Academy, scored 14 goals and had 12 assists in 16 games for the Titans.
