Palm Bay Police Arrest 22-Year-Old Babysitter After Child Dies In Drowning Incident

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Palm Bay Police have arrested 22-year-old Jacqueline Chiara Bjorndal in connection with the drowning death of 5-year-old Aubrey Alcott.
According to authorities, Bjorndal was babysitting for the family on November 25, when she came outside and discovered the child in the pool. Bjorndal has been charged with Aggravated Manslaughter by Neglect of a Child.
Bjorndal is at Brevard County Detention Center with no bond.
The incident occurred at Bjordal’s residence at 1399 Knecht Road NE.
