BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – This weekend, I had the honor of opening the “Sheepdog” Seminar hosted by Bethel Defense at the East Coast Christian Center in Merritt Island.

The guest speaker and presenter for the seminar, Lt. Colonel Dave Grossman is a world renowned author who specializes in strategies for surviving violent encounters.

The two day seminar focused on how to protect yourself at church, home or any other venue where an active shooter or other type of violent attack might occur.

During the seminar, Colonel Grossman detailed what it takes to survive a violent attack as well as being a warrior in today’s society.

I would like to personally thank East Coast Christian Center, Craig Dixon of Bethel Defense and Lt. Colonel Grossman for allowing me to open the seminar and for all they do to help protect citizens across our great nation.
