Eastern Florida State’s Men’s Tennis Team Debuts Season With 8-1 Victory Over Ave Maria

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College men’s tennis team made its spring debut Friday afternoon with an 8-1 victory against Ave Maria.
Samir Chikhaoui, Eduardo Garcia, Pablo Munoz, Alwyn Mushonga and Andreas Wejs all won singles matches while Eduardo Garcia and Danrich Kruger teamed up to capture the first doubles, while Jesus Amezcua and Wejs won at No. 2 doubles and Maximiliano Faundez and Mushonga won the third doubles match.
The Titans will face ASA Miami College who is ranked No 2 in the preseason ITA Junior Community College women’s tennis rankings.
The match will be at 10 a.m. and then the Titans will face St. Thomas in the afternoon.
