BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – After 29 years of service, Detective Bonnie Rinck has decided to hang up the badge and begin the next chapter of her life.

What will she do with herself once she is no longer working long days (20+ hours in some instances), making herself available for on-call after hours, and working very intricate and detailed investigations? “Nothing, absolutely nothing!”

Detective Rinck will relax and begin to unwind after a very involved and decorated career.

Detective Rinck was honored with the presence of her family, City Officials, Melbourne Police Foundation board members, co-workers, previously retired employees, and newly hired employees at her retirement ceremony.
