Melbourne Man Shot In Arm, Walks Into Holmes Regional Medical Center Emergency Room

A Melbourne man was shot in the left arm on Sunday morning and was able to walk into the Holmes Regional Medical Center Emergency Room at about 11 a.m., according to Melbourne Police Sgt. Marty Miller.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – A Melbourne man was shot in the left arm on Sunday morning and was able to walk into the Holmes Regional Medical Center Emergency Room at about 11 a.m., according to Melbourne Police Sgt. Marty Miller.

“During his interview with officers, Raylon Pennycook, 21, said that he was walking in an unfamiliar area in North Melbourne when he was shot,” said Sgt. Miller.

“He was unable or unwilling to describe any details about the incident.”

Pennycook, who is new to the area, attempted to describe the location where the incident occurred but he was unable to describe any landmarks.

There were no other calls about the incident, and Pennycook was not willing to assist any further, according to Sgt. Miller.
