Jeffrey Fink, 52, charged with Burglary and Theft

Melbourne police officers arrested Jeffrey Fink, 52, and charged him with Burglary and Theft after an incident Sunday at Bowe Gardens Baptist Church, located at 2700 Sarno Road.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Melbourne police officers arrested Jeffrey Fink, 52, and charged him with Burglary and Theft after an incident Sunday at Bowe Gardens Baptist Church, located at 2700 Sarno Road.

According to Melbourne Police Sgt. Marty Miller, officers were contacted by the church manager at 8 a.m. on Sunday morning after he interrupted a burglary to the church.

“The caller stated he observed a broken window to the church and discovered an older white male inside,” said Sgt. Miller.

“The caller confronted the suspect before he fled on a bicycle. Upon receiving the suspect’s description, responding officers located Jeffrey Fink a short distance away.”

The caller was able to positively identify Fink and he was taken into custody for burglary and theft.
