Orlando City SC Unveils 2017 Regular Season Schedule, Season Opens March 5 In New Stadium

ORLANDO, FLORIDA – The full 2017 regular season schedule for Orlando City SC’s third Major League Soccer (MLS) season has been released. CLICK HERE to view it and CLICK HERE to synchronize the schedule to your device.

The Lions will unveil the Club’s brand new downtown stadium on Sunday, March 5, in the first of three matches against 2015 expansion rival New York City FC. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m. ET and will be nationally televised on ESPN and ESPN Deportes.

Starting now, LionNation members will have an exclusive two-hour window of opportunity to purchase a Five-Game Flex Pack, which includes a ticket to the season opener and four other select games. Additional information on the Five-Game Flex Pack and other ticket packages has been announced to LionNation members via email.

After the two-hour window, the Five-Game Flex Pack will go on sale to the general public. For additional details and to purchase the package, click here. Single-game tickets will go on sale to the general public on Feb. 21.

In addition to its Opening Day tilt with New York City FC, Orlando City’s 2017 home slate is headlined by its April 15 match against the five-time MLS Cup champion LA Galaxy, its game against expansion side Atlanta United FC on July 21 and a faceoff with 2016 MLS Supporters’ Shield and U.S. Open Cup champion FC Dallas on Sept. 30.

The Lions’ schedule also includes several marquee road matches, including visits to expansion team Minnesota United FC on May 21, the reigning MLS Cup champion Seattle Sounders on June 21, and the inaugural game at Atlanta United FC’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium on July 30.

City’s regular season schedule includes at least 14 nationally televised matches that will be broadcast on the networks of ESPN, FOX and Univision. Additionally, at least five games will be broadcast live in Canadian markets by TSN and TVA Sports.

Locally televised matches will air on Orlando City’s broadcast partner, WRDQ TV27, with extensive three-hour coverage including pre- and post-game shows.

All of Orlando City’s home matches will be played just blocks from the heart of downtown Orlando at the Club’s brand new, soccer specific stadium.

A four-sided canopy roof will shield 25,500 purple clad fans from the elements while capturing their noise inside the stadium. It will feature a natural grass playing surface and North America’s only safe-standing supporters’ section.
