BREVARD COUNTY • KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, FLORIDA – Science and art are one and the same.

If looking down in the Vehicle Assembly Building at Kennedy Space Center doesn’t make you dizzy, looking up sure will.

These are the work platforms recently installed to support the new SLS rocket.

That cutout shape is the footprint of SLS.

The solid rocket boosters fit into the semicircular cutouts on the side, and the main tank fits into the middle.
