Police Investigating String of Burglaries In Cocoa Beach, Authorities Requesting Public’s Help

Cocoa Beach Police have responded to calls in the past several weeks regarding condominium burglaries in the areas of S. Banana River Blvd. and Ocean Beach Blvd. in Cocoa Beach.

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA – Cocoa Beach Police have responded to calls in the past several weeks regarding condominium burglaries in the areas of S. Banana River Blvd. and Ocean Beach Blvd. in Cocoa Beach.

Recently, the incidents involved unoccupied condos, 2nd floor and above, and entering through the front door or rear slider.

However, early Thursday morning, at around 2 a.m., officers responded to the Ocean Beach Condos on 3800 Ocean Beach Blvd. and Conquistador Condos (east) on 4100 Ocean Beach Blvd. regarding occupied burglaries to a unit on the fourth floor at each location. Point of entry is believed to be the rear slider and a suspect description is very vague at this time.

According to authorities, the incidents were not isolated to Cocoa Beach and detectives are working with their law enforcement partners in surrounding jurisdictions to  investigate all possible leads.

Proactive patrol measures have been implemented by police.
