BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College men’s basketball team lost a tight road game 77-71 against Indian River State College Tuesday night.

The Titans, who fell to 16-2 overall and 2-1 in the Southern Conference, were up 41-30 at the half but the Pioneers stormed back in the second half to improve to 3-0 in the conference.

Kareem Brewton led the Titans with 22 points while Ahmed Ali finished with 19 in the game.

EFSC entered the game after defeating No.16 Palm Beach State at home on Saturday.

In that contest, Austin Awad and Ahmed Ali were both on target early, scoring 19 and 18 points in the first half for the Titans who improved to 16-1 overall and 2-0 in the Southern Conference.

The Titans will be back in action Saturday afternoon when they travel to ASA Miami who is also 2-1 in the conference.
