BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – The Palm Bay Parks & Recreation Department’s monthly “First Friday By the Bay” event continues on Feb. 3, featuring Kamryn Palmer and Buckshot.

Free First Friday Concerts take place on the first Friday of each month at Celebration Square, locate at 4600 Dixie Hughway, at the corner of US 1 and Port Malabar Boulevard, and feature a different genre of music each month.

Gates open at 5 p.m., and live music begins at 6 p.m.

First Friday events feature live music, food trucks, beer and wine sales, vendors and a bounce house and kids zone.

Admission and parking is free and all ages are welcome.

DJ Sharpie will kick off the evening at 5 p.m. and will get you dancing during band breaks. At 6 p.m., Kamryn Palmer will take the stage and Buckshot will play from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. to close the night out.

Kamryn Palmer is a 17-year-old singer-songwriter guitarist from Florida focused on country, bluegrass and soul music.

She was a Nash Next National Semi-Finalist in 2016 and has performed on stages such as The Grand Ole’ Opry, Country Music Hall of Fame’s Ford Theater and Cumberland Caverns’ Bluegrass Underground.

She has won Palm Bay Idol, Palm Bay Pee Wee Idol, Vero Firefighter’s Fair Karaoke Competition, and Brevard’s Got Talent.

Her band will consist of:

Guitarist Eric Web (guitarist from Buckshot and Kamryn’s guitar teacher), Bass Guitarist Gabe Ottomanelli (a junior at Satellite High School who plays many instruments), and Drummer Cole Turner (a senior at Melbourne High School who is dual enrolled at EFSC).

The Buckshot Band is Eric Lee Webb, BMA’s 2014 favorite guitarist, on guitar and lead vocals. Sam DeBella on the keys, BMA’s 2014 favorite key board player, Gary Bart Carter, BMA’s 2014 favorite bass player and Mike DiPaolo, drummer extraordinaire.
