Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly single car crash that has claimed the life of a 27-year-old Titusville man early Wednesday morning off US 1 and N. of Columbia Blvd.

**UPDATE**BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The 27-year-old Titusville man killed in Wednesday morning’s crash has been identified as Michael James.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly single car crash that has claimed the life of a 27-year-old Titusville man early Wednesday morning off US 1 and N. of Columbia Blvd.

According to the FHP report, the man was traveling south on US-1 at around 1:05 a.m., as the vehicle approached the southbound exit ramp at Columbia Blvd., the vehicle failed to make the curved turn, then collided with a tree.

The result of the crash ejected the driver where he was pronounced dead.

The identity of the man has not yet been released by the medical examiner’s office, pending the notification to the next of kin.

The crash is still being investigated by Florida Highway Patrol.
