Two Brevard County Men Killed, Three Injured In Two-Vehicle Crash Early Wednesday Morning

Two men killed, two teen girls and one woman injured

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly two-vehicle crash early Wednesday morning at around 12:15 a.m. that killed two Brevard County men and injured 3 others near Canaveral Groves Blvd. and Grissom Pkwy in Cocoa.
According to Sgt. Kim Montes of the Florida Highway Patrol, the men killed are identified as 27-year-old Ryan Dolan of Cocoa and 31-year-old William Schuster of Rockledge, both died at the scene.
The preliminary investigation has revealed that a 2017 Ford Explorer was traveling southbound on Grissom Pkwy. and was approaching Canaveral Groves Blvd. The second vehicle, a 2000 Jeep, was sitting in traffic facing north in the left turn lane on Grissom Pkwy.
The Ford Explorer, driven by Dolan, veered around a vehicle stopped at a red light, drove through the intersection, where the car collided head on with the Jeep, according to investigators.
Dolan and and Schuster were in the Ford Explorer along with 29-year-old Amber Knudson, who suffered only minor injuries.
The driver of the Jeep is identified as 18-year-old Cheyenne Garrett of Cocoa, who suffered serious injuries.
Garrett was accompanied with 15-year-old female of Cocoa, who suffered minor injuries.
The two men killed were not wearing their seatbelt, according to FHP.
Florida Highway Patrol is still investigating this incident.
