BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Earlier today, I had the pleasure of speaking at the Titusville Campus of Eastern Florida State College as part of a Community Involvement course that focuses on providing students with an opportunity to examine community service and citizenship in our diverse community.

The presentation focused on leadership, partnerships, and the impact volunteering has in our community as well as on each of us.

The students were deeply engaged in the presentation and even discussed the various organizations that they are already involved in supporting.

I would like to personally thank Dr. Simpson, the Provost of the Titusville Campus, Professor Rye the class facilitator, and my wife Susan who is the Advisor Coordinator at the campus for inviting me to speak to the class and for all they do to partner with the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office.
